A GUIDE TO CONCRETE LIVING
Lecture by Michiel Huijben.

Friday April 8th, 2016
20:00h
doors open: 19:30h

Join us for a virtual walk through architectural spaces, taking Min- as a starting point to search for the interdependency between digital and physical places. Michiel will guide you through a labyrinth of blank windows, framed apartments, and locked screens.

In his practice Michiel Huijben explores our relations to different architectural spaces and their inherent and changing meanings. ‘A guide to concrete living’ is a new lecture, conceived for Min- as a continuation of the lecture ‘Becoming a building’, in which he presented ways in which the human body and architectural structures can become physically one.

Michiel Huijben studied an MA in Fine Arts at the Sandberg Institute Amsterdam, and recently obtained an MA in Architecture History and Theory at the Cass School of Architecture in London.
